KLINGLER, Kay Ruth Kay Ruth Klingler (née Weiser), 74, formerly of Keller, died in Plano on October 5, 2014, after an extended illness. Kay, the eldest child and only daughter of the late John H. and Ruth E. (Couch) Weiser, was born in Oil City, Pa., on September 30, 1940. She graduated in 1958 from Emlenton (Pa.) High School. Kay completed the three-year program at The Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pa., in August 1961. Prior to starting her family, she was employed as a registered nurse at Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J. On August 26, 1961, she married Richard H. Klingler, who survives and resides in Keller. In addition, Kay is survived by her three children and their spouses: David A. (Michelle) Klingler and Marianne (Jack) Schnell, each of Plano, and Jennifer (Joe) Ellis of Katy. She is also survived by three grand-daughters,Elizabeth Klingler, Cori Schnell, and Katie Ellis, and by a brother Jack T. (Susie) Weiser of Oil City. Arrangements were handled privately by Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, and no services will be held. The family encourages that donations be made in Kay's memory to the .
