November 4th, 2014 ballot:

We SUPPORT REASONABLE AND RESPONSIBLE OIL & GAS DRILLING REGULATIONS INSTEAD OF BANS to protect the city’s citizens, land, and environment; to protect property owner and mineral owner rights; to protect our local jobs and economy; to protect UNT’s oil and gas revenues; to protect city/county/state/school district oil and gas revenues; and to protect taxpayers from future property tax increases caused from reduced or denied oil and gas revenues which support public services and infrastructure;

We are OPPOSED TO ANY UNCONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT TAKINGS of private property, landowner and mineral owner rights;

We are OPPOSED TO EXPOSING THE CITY (AND OUR TAXPAYERS) TO MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN COSTS TO LITIGATE the City’s authority to enact a ban on oil & gas drilling and hydraulic fracturing; and

We are OPPOSED TO EXPOSING THE CITY (AND OUR TAXPAYERS) TO MILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN COSTS TO REIMBURSE public and private landowners and mineral owners damaged by city government condemnation through a ban on drilling and hydraulic fracturing.

We OPPOSE PROPERTY TAX INCREASES and LOST JOBS THAT A DRILLING BAN WILL CAUSE!
